Full Form of ICSE : Subjects, Advantages of the ICSE boards, Eligibility Criteria

ICSE is the abbreviation of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. The purpose of this committee was to provide general education courses in English and was praised by the 1986 education policy. Private scholars cannot take this exam. The ICSE test format is English. It is the private and non-government school education committee for grade 10 in India.

 ICSE’s syllabus is broad and extensive, emphasizing the detailed study of each subject, which is more advantageous than English. The CISE study plan is well-structured and comprehensive. Its purpose is to teach students analytical skills, problem-solving skills and practical knowledge. ICSE is relatively new, so there are scholarships and talent search exams. The Board of Directors manages the ICSE Committee, which aims to provide education for all and promote the interests of science, literature and fine arts. He believes that it will bring about a revolution in imparting useful knowledge to everyone. 

Subjects in ICSE

 The subjects offered by ICSE can be divided into three groups: 
 
Group 1: Compulsory subjects: English, History, Citizenship and Geography and Indian Language
 
 Group 2: You can choose any two subjects from the following subjects: Mathematics, Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture Science, Computer Science, Business Studies, Technical Drawing, Economics, Modern Foreign Language, Classical Language 
 
Group 3: You can choose any of the following subjects: Computer Application, Economic Application, Business Application, Family Science, Art, Performing Arts, Cooking, Design Fashion, sports, yoga, technical drawing applications.
 
 The internal evaluation weight of the first and second groups is 20%, and the weight of the third group is 50%.

  1. The courses of all subjects covered by ICSE contain a lot of depth, so all concepts are clear and easy to understand, and students can understand it well
  2.  It provides a variety of options for students to choose the subjects they want to study. 
  3. More emphasis on fluency in English has resulted in ICSE students’ English expression skills being clearer than others.

  5. Most higher education institutions accept ICSE as an official educational qualification.

Who can appear for ICSE Examinations?

According to the current CISCE policy, only tenth grade students who take full-time courses at any CISCE affiliated school  can take the ICSE exam. Under normal circumstances, students who study at home cannot take the ICSE exam. Students of any caste, belief, religion, economic background, sect, gender, tribe or race can take these exams. The minimum attendance rate for the school year is 75%.
