What you need to add to SBI Online recipient
- SBI Internet Banking username and password.
- SBI profile password.
- Beneficiary Account Number and IFSC Number.
- Registered Mobile Number with SBI bank account.
How to add beneficiary in SBI Online?
There are two methods available to add beneficiary in state bank of India Bank.
- Via SBI internet banking
- Using ATM
- Using Yono Lite App

Method 1 How to add beneficiary in SBI using Internet Banking?
- Computer / Smartphone Launch the SBI Internet Banking website at https://retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm.
- Click the Continue button.
- Please enter your SBI username and password correctly. Also enter the CAPTCHA code and click the enter button.
- Now on the main page, click on the money transfer option. Now click on Add and manage service options. Click on Manage income in sbi netbanking.
- You will now need to enter your SBI profile password to access the security options. Your password profile is different from your online banking password. If you can’t remember your password profile, please read this guide to start over.
- On the new page, select the category in which you want to add a beneficiary. If the beneficiary is an SBI beneficiary, select the “SBI benefit” option. And if the payer has another bank account, select the “Other bank payment” option, select the payer bank.
- On the new page, click Additional Options, then enter your payment information such as name, number, exchange, and IFSC code. Enter the benefit code and ifsc cide.
- Finally, accept the terms and conditions and click on the submit button.
- Again, make sure the data is entered correctly and click the OK button on the next page.
- You must allow third parties to benefit from the new page. Click the Approve Now option at the bottom of the form, click Approve Now.
- Enter your password profile once, then select the “Approved Client” option.

- Select your account number on the next page. You will receive an OTP via SMS to your mobile number. Choose an account for OTP approval and feedback
- Enter this OTP and click on the OK button.
- More beneficiaries are now complete. If you accept the beneficiary from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., the beneficiary will be opened within 4 hours. And if you approve the payor after 9:00 p.m., the payor will open after 8:00 a.m. the next day.
- In the “View” section, you can check the recipient’s job status.
Method 2 How to add SBI payees to ATMs:

- After adding the beneficiary information, click IRATA authorization for SBI beneficiary.
- You will receive 10 numbers using the numbers on the next page. Write down this number. Use IRATA to authorize payees.
- Now go to the nearest SBI ATM and insert your bank card.
- Enter your debit card PIN and select the “Services” option from the menu.
- On the new screen, select “Other” and then select the “Approve Internet Banking Request” option.
- Now enter the 10 digits using the number obtained in step 2.
- Once the number is verified, the beneficiary accepts immediately.
Method 3 How to add beneficiary in SBI using Yono Lite SBI App?
- You can do the same process to add beneficiary in Yono Lite SBI App.
- Once you log in and created MPIN for the App, you can read the steps to add beneficiary in SBI account. Enter your Simple PIN or Internet ID to access the SBI Yono Lite app.
- Now tap on the “Transfer Money” option.
- On the next page, tap on the “Add/Manage Beneficiaries” option.
- Enter your “Profile Password” and click the Submit button.
- Choose Bow account type as SBI account or Third-party account.

- Now, you have to approve the account using the OTP method or ATM method.

How much time does it take to add a beneficiary in SBI?

- It takes some time to add a beneficiary to the SBI bank. Generally, the beneficiary will be added within 30 minutes, and you will get a confirmation message on your mobile phone via SMS.
